Co do formy:
nie jestem zdecydowana, raczej wolę łączenie stylów, więc może być całkiem niezły misz-masz, od dziennika po poradnik.

Coś więcej o Hiszpanii...

Message of my friend about Spain:

I thought that I can speak you ore about what I consider more my country than spain, it is, Galicia. I mean, without stupit nationalisms, it is no deniable the fact that in Galicia, and in general in the north of spain the culture is completely different to the south in many aspects. So I prefrer to speak you about my own folklor. The culture in general is more difficult to catch but the folkloric things can. The first it is what is called "foliada",or "ruada" or "serán", depending on places. It is our traditional party by excelence. The tradition comes when the young people of close villages would go to comunal mill in order to get the flour. They usually had to spend lot of hours, so they would bring instruments (bagpipes, tambourine, tambor, accordion sometimes) to make the work days more light. From this came the most famous traditional dance in galicia, the "muiñeira", that means "woman who mills". This also happened in the patronal celebrations in villages. The youths went to the villages with the instruments and then might make competitions about which village dance and play better or just flirt with different people and have fun all together. The traditional formation is some girls -or boys- with tambourines, who know almost coreographically the dances they had to interpret, a dancing crew, and sometimes a bagpipe. The dances are has some celtic character and they are quite similar to irish dances, though more spanish style. The important thing here is that this way of celebrate has still a meaningful importance. From always, the traditional way of doing it has been there, but in late years it has become more like a etnographic demonstration that something that is really alive -tough it is funny anyway, and there is a lot of folcloric festivals and etc. which are trying to recover this traditional aspect in the parties. Besides, we must remeber that, during the dictatorship of Franco, that lasted almost 40 years -from 1939 til' 1975-, and which made spain being more than 100 hundred of years late than in the rest of Europe, all "non-spanish" cultural manifestations -all that were not "toros" "futbol" "flamenco" "paella" and "olé", our publicity to english and germans who want to come to the beaches- were not allowed. Anyway, this parties have been conservated in different way. Youth people, specially during the summer, continue to go to different villages all around Galicia to go to parties. In summer, you can find like 30 each day, in different parts. The music is quite different, but the intention is the same. Now I will pass you some links, but you shoulld make a reconstruction yourself. The first one is this aspect that is like the professional way of face the thing, is like professionals that recover the original clothes, music and dances, and goes to cultural festivals, etc. The second one is the same, but not so professional, it is people that know how to do it and that does it in the parties of the villages and this, but without any economical retribution, and just for fun, for showing the world their talent, and for tradition. The third one is the popular part of it, more sponaneous, more authentic, but without the clothes and the profesionality that we have seen before. Maybe, if you put some imagination and you melt the three in one you can imagine how can be 150 years ago, all with a traditional galician water mill in the scene. Thhe fourth video is the typical song odf the parties that are most famous nowadays, played by the known as "orquestas", it is more like manele.

the last one, as i said, it is more related with mexican and latino american music, -salsa, cumbia, bachata-, and maybe this is for all the emigration that drove more than the 40% population in galicia to Argentina Mexico and Brasil.
