Co do formy:
nie jestem zdecydowana, raczej wolę łączenie stylów, więc może być całkiem niezły misz-masz, od dziennika po poradnik.

Jakieś pytania do amerykańskiego reżysera? Oczywiście, że tak!

  • Hey, I was at the University Suceava last Saturday when you were presenting your movie "Souvenirs of Bucovina". I had little talk with your wife and you but I didn't manage to ask you about everything what I want. I have the opportunity to come tomorrow but I don't want to take time others maybe they have really interesting questions. So: - Did you discover polish minority in Bucovina when you were recording? - Is there a possibility to buy this movie somewhere? - I'm polish student on exchange in Suceava and when I come back to Poland I have plan to do romanian national evening or maybe even day and I was thinking about presenting this movie if you agree of course and do I need a special license or permission? I think yes, but how it can look like. I wish you could come to Poland and present yourself. - As well about Jewish aspect... I'd been thinking before to rescue the Jewish cemetery in my city coz it's in very bad shape... and when I saw that your wife was researching in this subject maybe you could tell me how I should start to do it... of course I have this feeling that I have to find other people to help me... but can you give me some advices how to start... I think first I have to check how it's the law situation. Sorry for bothering you, kind regards, greeting for your wife,

XYZ, So, after writing you on December 30th, I lost your message again. I was all set to respond when I couldn't figure out where such messages are stored on Facebook. I just now found yours again, so I'm FINALLY responding. - With regard to the Polish minority in Bucovina, no, we did not run into it. We knew it existed, but we did not find anyone who identified himself or herself as being part of a longtime Polish community in the region. Also, in a two-hour film, there's a limit to how much we can deal with. - Certainly, at some point, we hope that the film will be available on DVD or blu-ray. But for now, we're mostly trying to get it shown at film festivals and on television. Actually, a local station in Suceava asked to broadcast it, but we're hoping to get it broadcast over the whole country. It's also being considered for a film festival in Paris this April. - We would love to come to Poland. In fact, my favorite film director, Krzysztof Kieslowski, was Polish. But we have no way to afford a trip there at this time. If you can arrange to show the film in Poland, we will likely be willing to arrange a way for you to do so. Of course, we wouldn't be able to create a Polish translation for you. In Romania, the translation was created at the university; we allowed them to download a copy of the film from vimeo.com; and they ran their translation along with the downloaded copy. - That's an interesting question about trying to rescue your local Jewish cemetery. Yes, I'm guessing that you would have to see who has control over the cemetery, and then see if perhaps there are Jewish associations in Poland as there are in Romania. I'll ask Diana if she has any ideas about this, because, as you know, this is her heritage. - You are probably aware that, on my website, I have an extended trailer for the film, as well as some TV news clips from our premiere screenings in Romania last month. If you haven't seen them, you can do so by using the link below. That's it for now, and again, I apologize about the long delay in getting back to you. Thanks a lot for your interest. Best wishes from Diana and me, Bob http://robertmugge.com/bucovina/index.html
